This ring has been formed to defend Christian rock music, as the name implies.
Why does it need defended? Because it is under attack by people who worship
tradition more than they worship God. It has been called "carnal", "the devil's
music", "music from hell" and dozens of other things that I don't have the time to list.
Why don't these people like rock music? At the root of their dislike is the
belief that tradition equals Christianity. Some have better reasons than
others, I must admit. Some came to Christ out of sinful lifestyles that they
still associate with rock music. They really should avoid it then. But
calling it evil, and those who enjoy it decieved is definitely wrong.
Requirements for joining the ring
Your page must defend Christian rock music (or rock music in general) against these
people's attacks. You must fight fair: no personal insults. You must
be logical. You must speak lovingly. If you're interested in this, you
may also want to
apply to be a Crony. The standards for that are a little bit tougher.
